We have been rehabilitating homes in the Greater Philadelphia area since 2002. Our projects reflect a love of older homes and respect for period style and detail. This sensibility is well balanced by a practical appreciation of the demands of modern life. We emphasize function and incorporate modern conveniences (such as high end fixtures and appliances), while maintaining the character of
your home.
I was born in Philadelphia and am passionate about its neighborhoods, their rich history, and architectural integrity. It is particularly gratifying to de-convert an apartment house or restore original detail to a deteriorated or “modernized” structure. Over the years, my work has received honorary citations from the University City Historical Society for several porches that we restored in West Philadelphia. The restorations required making molds and casting of the original capitals and bases, as well as custom turning of hardwood balusters.
With 15 years experience as a gourmet chef, I have a particular talent for kitchen planning. My designs are “chef ready”, streamlined for smooth work flow. I collaborate with clients to achieve maximum functionality while celebrating their personal style and material choices. Our designs have included butcher block, granite, and limestone counter tops, custom and semi-custom cabinetry, farmhouse sinks, and commercial ovens. We also specialize in the creation of luxurious bathrooms with intricate tile work, custom showers, and frameless glass enclosures. Please browse our gallery for examples of our craftsmanship.
